Austaryia-Rhen

Austaryia-Rhen is a young Sidériahn hybrid, the creator of the world of Fayvirnoc, and Empress of the Wienavar. As the Embodiment of Paths, Austaryia-Rhen's primary drive in life is to help guide those who are lost and show them that no one is bound by destiny. She abhors chains, be they of the mind, body, or soul.

As she once lived upon the dying world of Ayvenfael, Austaryia-Rhen has witnessed the horrors of what happens when a Sidériah fails their station. Though she could not defeat the pestilence that plagued her world, Austaryia-Rhen was able to gather the survivors and flee into the cosmos, where she learned how to create her own world for them to live upon. Now she tends to them all as if they were her own creations, and vows to ensure that they never know a life of chains ever again.

FROM THE DARKNESS...

Born on the world of Ayvenfael, Austaryia-Rhen came into being during a time of great strife. Created from the essence of the Lady of Chaos, and hatched from a liberated Wienavar egg, she became the first hybrid of a Sidériah and mortal creation, a taboo that had always been avoided in the past. And yet, such unusual circumstances called for an extreme breaking of the natural order, for Austaryia-Rhen was made to be a symbol of hope for not only the Wienavar themselves but the very world of Ayvenfael itself.

Fate, however, was not so kind to the young hybrid.

For shadows moved swiftly, unseen and nefarious, that found out about their sacrilege and blasphemy. Found by the Great Progenitor Empress, Austaryia-Rhen's Sire hid her... and yet, he never came back... Having been placed in a home where Chaos could find her, something else came forth snatching that child in the guise of another... A face that would haunt the child's memories with a sinister smile and cobalt flames. For body and soul were torn asunder, as the young child became naught more than a tool for the Cobalt Fire's wicked goals.

When the child awakened once more, she was hideously alone... chained far below the reach of light and comfort. Yet, what woke her was pain... agonizing, excruciating pain...For her wings were broken, feathers had been taken from her, and yet as she screamed in her agony, not even Chaos could hear her. Enslaved by her tormentors, she endured centuries of cruelty, and though her body weakened, her spirit only burned brighter.

For years, she watched, she observed, doing all she could to fight for her survival, enduring such wicked tortures upon a young soul. And when the opportunity for her to take her freedom presented itself... she took it.

Though she fled from her captors, she was eventually found by another, a Wienavar of the Shadows, who helped to get her the care she needed to recover from the physical trauma she had experienced. The mental, on the other hand, required far more aid in soothing. For she bore no trust in her kindred of the feather, derived no warmth nor comfort in their touch or words. It was only with the aid of the trusted hands of Chaos, that the young child began to learn to lower her defenses and place trust in another again.

With the guidance of the bonded Star Shepherd of Chaos, and the support of her newfound family, Austaryia-Rhen was guided back onto her Path, preparing her for the danger that was still to come. For the Spider of Subversion and Inversion would soon come to prey upon them all, and there was still much that needed to be done, to unite those who would stand against the wicked Chain and their acolytes.

...A LIGHT ILLUMINATES THE PATH.

Over the years, the weary souls of Ayvenfael united beneath the Guiding Light of Chaos and their steadfast left hand. Through ceaseless trials and tribulations, Austaryia-Rhen had transcended her timid shackles, blossoming into a beacon of hope. Yet, alas, the whims of fate played their wicked game. At the pinnacle of the clash between the liberated masses and those ensnared by the Great Spider's venomous web, another obstacle stood in their way.

Celaena, the Empress and First of the Wienavar, confronted Austaryia-Rhen in a fateful convergence, as tormented met tormentor. With steely resolve, she stood resolute, unaware of the devastating horror lurking in wait - a crippling blow inflicted by the Spider through its sinister proxy. The radiant light of Chaos surged forth in a valiant effort to intervene, but it proved overwhelming. In a desperate gambit, the Star Shepherd of Chaos expelled the Spider from the confines of Ayvenfael's surface into the cold expanse of interstellar obscurity. Meanwhile, aided by her trio of unwavering guardians, Austaryia-Rhen felt newfound strength coursing through her veins.

She gathered every precious soul within reach and absconded to the starry cosmos, bearing witness to a celestial supernova that ruptured through eons of pervasive darkness. The resultant cataclysmic explosion propelled the injured Spider back into its midnight abyss and launched Austaryia-Rhen headlong into uncharted cosmic seas.

Blessed she was to find new allies and mentors within the dark expanse, and with their guidance, Austaryia-Rhen worked to construct an entirely new world for her kin, ascending not solely as their unwavering guardian, but also as the Empress who would lead them into this glorious new epoch. And although she was now burdened with navigating treacherous tides of political unrest stemming in part from her mere existence, she has found solace in knowing she is not alone in facing these daunting trials.

RESOLUTE

Determined and unwavering, Austaryia-Rhen's resolve is firm. When she commits to a Path, particularly one aimed at aiding others, she becomes an unstoppable force, steadfast in her pursuit until the very end. However, she's not bound by mere stubbornness; she'll pivot if she senses a more promising route, adapting to seek best outcome in any situation.

PROTECTIVE

A guardian by nature, Austaryia-Rhen's protective instincts run deep, whether it's shielding her family, her friends, or people. It is with unwavering determination that she endeavors to safeguard those dear to her, ready to confront any peril head-on. Any threat towards them is quick to stir her ire, and bring out a far more aggressive side that some may not be prepared for.

EMPATHETIC

Being intuitive by nature, Austaryia-Rhen shows a keen awareness of the emotions and plights of others. With a compassionate heart, she seeks to grasp the inner workings of those she encounters, offering solace and understanding where needed.

VIGILANT

Austaryia-Rhen maintains a cautious demeanor, particularly around those who haven't yet earned her trust. She evaluates the risks inherent in every situation, especially when the safety of her loved ones hangs in the balance. Such is her dedication to protecting those she holds dear that she's willing to sacrifice sleep to keep watch, ensuring no threat slips past her keen senses unnoticed.

MOTHERLY

Austaryia-Rhen exudes a nurturing, motherly aura that extends beyond the bounds of her own children to embrace any child in need of care and guidance. Among the youth of Fayvirnoc, she is lovingly called "Talè-Miaha," a name which means "Mother of the Path". Her tender touch and compassionate spirit create a safe haven where young hearts find solace and support, fostering a sense of belonging much as if they were being cradled within the arms of a loving mother.
