A Werewolf (also known as a lycanthrope, shape-shifter, children of the moon) is a human being that has the ability to shapeshift into a large wolf at night and the full moon or on command.
⎨SHAPESHIFTING⎬Ethan can phase in and out of wolf form. With practice and skill, one can morph faster and with more efficiency, with Ethan being the one exception, being able to phase in mid-jump. Though phasing can be controlled, anger can easily cause the individual to phase by accident. However, for every full moon there is, Ethan loses his human consciousness and becomes feral rather than rational.
⎨PAIN ABSORPTION⎬As a werewolf, Ethan possesses the ability to absorb the pain of animals, humans, and supernatural creatures by touching the person's skin with his hands. Though, at the moment, he is only able to essentially "take the edge off" of the pain. This ability manifests by a darkening of the veins in his hands and fingers, which will grow up his arms and into his chest, neck, and face as he siphons away more and more of the being's pain.
⎨REGENERATIVE HEALING⎬Ethan has a powerful regenerative healing factor. This allows him to heal at an abnormal rate, faster than any human being can, and, as a result, is immune to all human diseases and conditions.
⎨NATURAL ENHANCEMENTS⎬Ethan has superhuman strength and speed in both wolf and human form, though he is at his peak only while in wolf form. In human form, he is notably faster than any human being, but still not nearly as fast as he is in his wolf form. Ethan also has greater endurance and is much more durable and resistant to blunt force injuries than a normal human.
⎨SUPERHUMAN SENSES⎬Ethan's senses of sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch are amplified to a superhuman degree. His superhumanly acute senses are comparable to those of certain animals, such as the wolf. His wolf eyes are capable of seeing at far greater distances, with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human and retains this same level of clarity even in near total darkness. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing him to detect sounds ordinary humans can't. He is also able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if they are well hidden.
