Chae-Seun Yung

Chae-Seun was born with fair, creamy skin and long, straight raven hair that was hardly ever kept pinned up. She has round, dark chocolate eyes that sometimes glow a fiery scarlet color when she uses her abilities. Full, pouty lips form a brilliant smile and thin, dark brows curve over her eyes. She stands at about 5'3" tall with a slender but curvy, fit body. As a poor woman, Chae-Seun had clad herself in faded, multi color tunics of sewn rags and worn out materials and walked the ear on bare feet. About the only article of clothing she had owned in her early life was the jade stone amulet passed down to her from her mother. Overtime, following her freedom and marriage, she was able to indulge herself in clean, proper fitting garments worn by English women.
As a fire sprite, Chae-Seun can morph between a human appearance to that of a woman with reddish skin, pointy ears, and hair of flames. Her body is coursed in burning fire as a form of attire that glitters with the affect of the sparks emerging from her flaming figure, which is almost always naturally warm.

Chae-Seun is little hot headed and can be easily aggravated, but aside from that, she's all smiles and kind hearted. She's both hard working and always looking for ways to improve her skills and worth. And while she may not have much, considering her status in the supernatural world, she's happy with what she has and takes great pride in it. She never enjoys being on the low end as 'weak' or 'frightened.' She'll happily stand up to anyone and prove she's nowhere near as vulnerable as others take her to be.

Chae-Seun, better known as Chace, was born during 1644 in China to two young fae. Like her parents, she harvested the fire element and didn't take kindly to fae of other elements, especially water sprite. At the age of twelve, she was taken from her parents and enslaved to a group of men who'd eventually trade her off for profit. All she had with her was her ragged tunic, jade amulet of her mother's, and elemental abilities she had no idea she could control. One night, upon almost being raped, she had summoned her powers out of fear and set the man on fire, thus killing him in a burst of flames. At first scared by her actions, she soon realized she now had a source of defense against her captors. By the time she was sixteen, and only beginning to discover her element more thoroughly, she was brought out West where she was purchased by a vampire, whom she later married and raised a daughter with.
She and her daughter, Jaiying, upon turning seventeen, eventually were sucked into a war between the fae of separate elements. It was there that she reunited with her parents only to watch them fall dead during a battle against the water and sky fae. Furious, she waged war against the sky and water fae while forming allies with the earth fae, ultimately bringing death to her front door. Five years of waging war in East with the fae caused her to not only lose her daughter's life, but her own, during attempt to dethrone the queen of the sky fae. Because her daughter was half fae, only she had made it to the afterlife where she and all other fae of the fire reside for their rest of their days. Here, for centuries, she plots to return with a newborn army of fire fae and unleash all their power on the sky and water fae.
