Luna Nora Perez the sweet quite girl, the mother. She grew up in a small town, that type of town where everyone knows each other. She always found it suffocating. She could never JUST be Luna; she would always be the ‘Pérez girl’ or Daniel Pérez’s little sister. Luna had dreams, she wanted to go to an out of stat college, she wanted to be a painter, she wanted to travel the world and meet new people, not just the same people she grew up with. Quite and sweet, Luna was a smart girl. She never went to a party, always chose to study instead. She never dated, not because she didn’t want to, but because she was so painfully shy.
Luna came from a loving family. Her parents were childhood sweethearts, owning a family farm. Luna grew up surrounded by animals and nature. She grew up riding horses and eating fresh vegetables. Her mother and Luna always made dinner together. Her mother showed her all her old family recipes. When Luna was 17 years old, her mother died in a car accident. The entire family fell apart. Her father just sorts of fell apart; he grew into a dark depression. Her brother just stopped being home, he became a troublemaker, leaving Luna at home with the mess. Luna had to give up her dream. She went to the local college, took over the farm, stayed in her childhood home, gave up her painting dream and gave up her life to take care of her father.
Luna is now a rather determined, stubborn and rather skeptical. She used to love stories, legends and fairytales. She used to dream, but now she is rather numb. She is however still very caring, kind and empathetic. She loves cooking and has her own tomato sauce brand. It’s not big, she only sells it on the local farmers marked, but people love it. Luna is now a realist. She is willing to do anything for the people that she loves, but she still deep down, dreams of adventure.
