He found true fascination by the way the waves softly crashed against the rocky beach, their curling fingers brushing each stone with a gentle caress as the wind ushered them gently towards the shore. The way the sun shone off the rippling water, its golden light warped in the twisted, glass waves. No description can truly capture its mysterious majesty, yet only a few words can express its beauty...
"The ocean...is truly a wonderful thing," The male stated calmly, mossy orbs watching the waves crashed against the sand, his turquoise tail resting in the water. "Respect the ocean, and it will respect you in return." He hummed, gently as a breeze brushed through his hair. "I love the ocean, how come it didn't like me playing?" The spirit girl asked, her little feet gently kicking in the water. Kai's green gaze fell onto the child, a soft smile curving his lips albeit the pained look in his eyes, "Well you see, the ocean loved you so much...that it wanted to keep you. So, the ocean took you beneath the waves and made you theirs..." The child's face seemed to brighten as a grin spread across her sweet face, a joyous look in her eyes, "Really? I love the ocean as much as it loves me!!" The girl clapped her hands with a giggle. Kai's features softened as he watched the little spirit before he slowly reached up to curl his fingers around the pearl on his leather-cord necklace, "Isa," The merman uttered softly, "It's time for us to go.." Isadora or 'Isa' nodded slowly, seeming to pout, but her form glowed, gently and she disappeared her essence merging with the pearl. "Good girl," Kai slowly slid into the water and beneath the waves, flicking his tail and darting father into the water in the blink of an eye, perhaps to find some new animal, or a gift for one of his friends, who knows...
