Morokuni Nakamura

A troubled soul who just likes to make people happy and gain genuine attention, Morokuni is...all over the place. Often coming off as a busybody and a cheery, energetic fellow, especially when it comes to his job, he's flirty and generous. He doesn't like to accept gifts often and becomes really flustered in legitimate romantic settings. He has chaotic party animal energy, along with being a jokester and tries his best to hide his age or his secrets out of fear and paranoia of gaining hate or just losing an identity. He's a bit of a sailor's mouth when comfortable and has a dirty mind which he's honest with if he feels he can be.

He has a love for photography, he loves to capture the moment as it is for later use, and adores his favorite sense, sight. He never takes it for granted. He tries to bend over backward to make people happy as a photographer and is bossy and demanding when modeling. He has 3 jobs, model, photographer, and cam boy.

His flaws are his alcoholism, his lack of understanding towards generosity, and how scared he is, to be honest about his issues, his past, and his age.

Standing 5'2, Morokuni can be described as curvy. Due to his species, he has a feminine body type, thick thighs, and a soft belly. He has long brunette hair which he can style in all sorts of ways, and can change out his eyes to any color or type. He has a long 10-foot tail that has a crystal at the end and a needle, along with a large curved horn on his head. He has large drooping and pointed ears at the side of his head which can be described as elfish, and can twitch. During the winter, he grows visible whiskers and becomes slightly furry.

He can often be seen wearing all sorts of aesthetics and outfits outside and wears comfy, baggy clothes indoors or during the winter. He's always wearing lipgloss or lipstick, mostly pink-tinted lipgloss.

When not wearing makeup or covering up, he has hand sized scars on his neck and short scars in varying size around his sockets. He also has all sorts of strange markings and scars here and there, but they aren't that noticeable.

Morokuni was born into a human family during a time of war in the country of Koricha. Yokai and Humans had been at war for centuries already, and when Morokuni was born his father was a sergeant for the Human side of that war. It was discovered right away that Morokuni was not fully human, being the product of a supposed affair, his father put him int he outside shed to starve. This proved fruitless but proved the nonhuman theory as he didn't die of starvation, and the poor baby was to grow up in that shed all alone, abandoned, starved, and abused. At the age of 2, Morokuni's father ended his life by snapping his neck and drowning him.

Coming back just a few years later as a Notabariko, a Yokai of a miserable child's soul which brings misfortune, his air of misfortune burned down his home and killed his mother and nearly killed his father. He was picked up by two Yokai traveling to The Gate, a place where dying Yokai go for a 2nd chance of revival and brought to the god TanTan to take care of.

In 1893, Morokuni was granted his 2nd chance and began his formation and puberty into becoming a Baku, a dream and emotion absorbing/eating Yokai, first given eyes which had been pecked out by birds, a better body and stronger bones, then a tongue which was cut out after death. He finally began to grow, being given to the Yokai Hanami who cared for him like a grandmother.

In 1935, Morokuni was the equivalent of a 13-year-old when humans invaded his town, killing Hanami and taking Morokuni, mistaking him for a human child and placing him into foster care all the way in a different country. Here he grew up as a rebellious, spiteful, human-hating Yokai in a town filled with humans who feared his kind. He had to go through the pains of his slow and advanced puberty by himself, hiding a growing horn and a subtly developing tail. He dyed his hair, skipped school, was apart of a gang in high school, and always got into fights. By 1943, Morokuni earned his criminal and rebellious teen title and got into more and more fights, growing antisocial, and had no friends. He met a college boy by the name of Grady at the nearby fairgrounds, who he swiftly fell in love with after befriending him.

Grady and Moro were able to share everything together, Moro confided in Grady, developing and showing his softer, vulnerable side he hid. Grady was the only human Moro didn't hate with a burning passion, he was everything to him. In 1946, Morokuni's rivals found out about Grady, and during a time where homophobia was running rampant, they both got harassed. This led to Grady's eventual suicide, which Moro had found out about. From there, he turned into a great depression and dropped out of school entirely. The god TanTan, who admittedly lived a life of traveling and a 'mortal lifestyle', finally found him and took him away.

Placed under the care of TanTan's good friend Basho, a Tengu who took in children anyway, Morokuni blossomed into a nearly developed Baku and Basho decided against putting him into schooling just yet and let Moro develop hobbies. Here, Moro discovered his love for photography. In 1959, Morokuni was placed into a high school setting once again, where Moro fit in a bit better and developed more into a social party-goer, becoming one of the prissy popular guys at school. Morokuni didn't graduate due to his inability to read and write.

In the 60s to 70s, Morokuni moved out of Basho's place and began trying to make a life of his own. He went down a dark path of drugs, swiftly falling into abusive relationship after abusive relationship. He also developed a bit into the kind of person he is now, not understanding pure generosity and true love.

In the 80s, Morokuni began to try to make a living for himself, idolizing models and photographers. He wanted to be a model. He wanted to be a photographer. So he took up small jobs and built up his portfolio. In the 90s, he began to debut as an advertising model, as well as a fashion model. In the early 2000s he took part in a scheme to help bring enslaved Yokai across the border from Koricha, and from the late 2000s to the present day, he has a photography company and modeling company is an independent model on his own and dedicates his life to the advocacy of Yokai rights and often takes part in charities to help get poor and innocent Yokai who aren't fighting out of Koricha.
