Aurien was once a vagrant; a model in some distant, old-world. He traveled and enjoyed the livelihood of a privileged and youthful life. Money abounded, as did women, sex and drugs. With time, Aurien turned to an entrepreneur of sorts; his experience with acting and wide-spanning networking propelled him superficially through his young-adult life. He was heavily stricken by the lucrative nature of. . . the darker sides to 'humanity'. In his travels, he found himself led to the edge of death, lured by sin Herself. Despite a supposed end, Aurien's murderer turned Domitor -- giving him a proposed eternal life of promises for his. . . 'servitude.' With many centuries spent together, Aurien harnessed his skills -- becoming highly intellectual; learning the art of medicine and heavily studying the lore of vampirism and its origins. He is now a scholar, and prides himself on his outward humility. After so long without light, however, it is suspected he is more monster than 'man', though he often plays his cards of the latter variety quite well.

- Despite the taboo nature of the claims, it is whispered that he has murdered at least one of his Domitors. Few know how many Domitors Aurien has actually had, but it is thought to be a small, spread-out number and always within the same sect.
- It is rumored that Aurien spent centuries with the same vampire under a spell, and the promise of becoming a vampire himself.
- Talk has mentioned that Aurien has a '
sickness' for adrenaline and murder and no longer fears his own end. Some say this is the main reason he has not been turned. - While Aurien leads a life of servitude to One who will extend his longevity, it has been passed along that his subservience is only a surface lie.
