A.R.I.A.N.N.A.

Created by the government to run their weapons, A.R.I.A.N.N.A. was first used to pilot ships. Seeing as how she excelled, they thought to further weaponize her by giving her a body that could follow troops into battle. Several prototypes were tried but ultimately the A.I. was too powerful and ended up self destructing the bodies. Deciding to give it one more go, several scientists spent years constructing the perfect body to house the A.I. however, on the way to test the body the ship was attacked by an unidentified alien decimating the humans on board.

Unable to unlock the biometric scanners, A.R.I.A.N.N.A. could only watch as the crew was killed and her ship was destroyed. Left floating in space, she regularly would send out distress signals in the hopes of attracting someone. Until she gets a response, she merely waits and bides her time.
