Description

Amarant is a tall, rather lithe fox. His coat is grey, with his chest, arms, legs, and undercarriage being a soft white. Atop his head is a crown of short, white hair, kept from falling into his eyes by a black headband. His eyes are a vivid, expressive, blue that tell the truth of how he feels, no matter the bravado he displays. His hands and wrists are usually taped over, as are the arches of his feet and his ankles, preferring to travel barefoot. He wears a light and thin black hooded cloak with no undershirt, and baggy, white harem pants that are cuffed at the ankles to allow for greater flexibility and movement. He carries a small pack on the small of his back with any coin or valuables he might have pilfered or pirated upon stowaway, and his daggers, of no particular import or design, are usually holstered on his hips.

History

Amarant was born to a loving husband and wife. As was tradition in their family, once a kit was old enough to walk, talk, and carry out basic fine motor skills, they were tossed out into the wild. Despite this, Amarant's parents kept a close eye on him throughout his developmental years, without his knowing. A mischievous and curious boy, he often got into trouble with the local guard, and found his calling on the open seas, traveling without a care, master, or authority. He'd scrounge up coin from working odd jobs in port towns, and as he grew older, came to know the calling of the flesh. Never one to settle down roots, Amarant called the local inns and pubs his home. Now 26, streetwise, and come into his own, Amarant is simply seeking his next adventure, and perhaps a fine lass that might cause him to change his ways.

Proud to be a Pirate!

Amarant is a pirate in every sense of the word. He doesn't own a ship, nor does he belong to a crew, but if you've got a ship, you'd best watch out. He can usually be found sitting on one of the spars of a ship's mast, enjoying the sea breeze. He doesn't deal in merchanting, or even human trafficking, he simply lives for the travel. He's usually an unwelcome traveler on whatever ship he stows away on, which leads to plenty of fighting, and few can handle his trickery and his quickness. Amarant has been known to dabble in mercenary work is the coin is right, but by and large, he prefers the open sea and seeing new sights. That doesn't mean he won't enjoy a jaunt to the local brothel or whorehouse, oh no. A pirate has needs, after all!
Tale of The Wrath

"WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE. BOUNTY: 20,000 GOLD PIECES"

Though he is by and large an easygoing fellow, there are a few times where his inner rage will seep outward. If that is the case, one should run immediately. His bodycount has grown across the last 5 years, totaling 17 counts of murder in the first degree. Some have told the tale that when "The Wrath" shows his face, the one targeted will never see the light of tomorrow. Of course, these are rumors, as no one who has seen "The Wrath" face to face has ever survived to tell the tale, but those from afar note the danger involved. Take extreme caution when interacting with "The Wrath."
