"I just can't seem to feel it all."
The way most people see it, Rosie is a trash person. He's one of the punks you see on the street with no regard for human decency. While he's not out panhandling, it's obvious he lives on the streets from the state of his clothes. This kid won't hold the door open for you, but he might just steal your wallet.

Fashion Choice
Rosie dresses in such a way to discourage interaction. He doesn't want to attract attention, though it isn't just because he has an anti-social streak. All black or mostly black, his clothes aren't generally in the best state, and when one looks close enough it's easy to tell they're a bit too worn and even a bit dirty. When the weather permits, he has a hood and a scarf, as well as gloves to cover as much of himself as possible. He doesn't put any effort into things like jewelry, but if he comes across something he likes, he might wear it for a while. Shoes are practical and beat the hell up, usually some sort of skate shoe or boot.
His clothes come from a variety of sources to include donation sites, scavenging trash, and theft. For the most part he doesn't steal anything particularly nice, because we'd be circling right back to drawing too much attention to himself. Most commonly shoes are what he steals, shoes break down quick (or get stolen from him), but clothes are a little easier to come by in a city.
Rap Sheet
One more than one occasion, Rosie has been to jail. For the most part he has gotten lucky, and through all of his charges and trips to the slammer, he's spent about a grand total of approximately 2 years doing time since the age of 15. The two years is scattered through multiple shorter stays that range from 3-8 months. Due to over crowding, changes in legislature, and good behavior, he almost never does the full time. On top of that, there are a few crimes where charges have even been dropped or reduced to citations instead of serving time. Of course, he's never going to pay a dime of that, but they exist.
A combination of juvenile detention, local jails and federal prisons have all held Rosie for a time, and he's made a lot of connections this way. While he's certainly not a hardened criminal, it does pay to make friends rather than enemies. Often, those friendships would continue on the outside, some more casual than others.
Though it is not a complete list, a sampling of some of Rosie's criminal record includes: Petty theft, vandalism, criminal trespass, disturbing the peace, minor assault, destruction of property, inciting a riot, vagrancy, larceny, minor in possession, illegal gambling, battery. -

Where's the money come from?Fight Club
I don't care where you are, people like to gamble and people like a show. From a young age Rosie has been a fighter. He's a little ball of rage, and he eventually figured out that he could fight for money. Obviously the waif isn't a back-street MMA professional making mad cash, but he does pretty well. While he doesn't look like much, he isn't human. Even when he's going to rings that specifically fight supernaturals and knows he's gonna lose, he can have people bet against him and make money off the bets once he loses. What's a little dishonor among thieves?
Pickpocket
It wasn't all that difficult to perfect, especially with the added advantages of his natural disposition. Rosie has a good deal of natural steal and an easy grace in his movements. He picked this up young and has only gotten better at it. Typically the wallets are most useful. Both for cash and making a quick purchase for a meal on the cards before they're cancelled.
Selling Goods
Other items he lifts from people like watches, nice purses, jewelry, even IDs can be sold. He doesn't do the selling himself, of course. Rosie takes his scores to someone every few days to see what he can get for it. This doesn't pay a lot, but it's easy money for the most part, and he can haggle it a little. Over time he has gotten better at being able to recognize brands and quality in different materials and items, so his sales have been able to increase with his targeted theft.

A Unique Familiar
The Sabbath family are a breed of shape shifter felines that swore their fealty to a coven of witches several hundred years ago. Over time their breed has evolved along with that bond to become what they are today. Powerful, magical creatures, these familiars are unique and have elevated their coven time and time again. Rosie was born into the family of glorified servants, as he likes to refer to them, and left home at a young age, running from his so-called destiny. That does not change what he is, though, and he lives with both the benefits, and the consequences, of his heritage every single day.
While Rosie is not bound to the moon like a werewolf is, his power does wax and wane with the cycle. On the new moon it is extremely difficult for him to hold his human form, so he just generally doesn't. This would be stabilized if he were to bond with a witch, but he thinks it's a pretty small price to pay. In addition to that, he missed out on a lot of his training when he ran away from home. He has some, and has picked up a lot, but he's nowhere near reaching his potential because of the lack of education and training. This can sometimes backfire if he tries to use his magic, so he keeps that to a minimum.
His magic is less to do with potions and spells, and more natural influence on the world around him. This can include telepathy, telekinesis, seeing auras, and more. It's pretty spotty, as mentioned above, so it's used very seldom. Besides, he doesn't think that he needs it. He left home for good reason, so he doesn't feel connected to what he is in the same way that his prideful family does, he doesn't feel the need to learn the 'tricks of the trade' as it were, because he'd never allow himself to be bound to a witch... not willingly anyway.
The Runaway
The easiest way to describe the way Rosie grew up, is that it was like growing up in a cult. By definition, it is a cult, they just aren't identified by anyone that way. The Sabbath family functioned with strict rules within their walls, all the way down to the dress code and daily itinerary. While their goal wasn't quite to breed 'soldiers,' it is still a breeding and grooming installation, disguised as a family. At least, that's the way it felt to Rosie, and the way he still sees it.
Rosie's personality is naturally questioning, rebellious, and strong. He fought everything, every step of the way. Abuse was a normal part of life in the large cult, but Rosie had it especially hard because of his inability to simply access the status quo, to accept eventual servitude. Everyone treated it like it was such an honor, that the goal of being paired with a witch was all that there was. Wanderlust had infected him from a young age, and he'd day dream about seeing the world, about even just seeing the outside of their compound's walls aside from going to the coven. While he had his low points growing up from the efforts to grind him into the correct shape, Rosie always renewed his need to be himself, to be free.
More than once, Rosie tried to run away. Getting caught never ended well for him, the punishments always severe... but he kept trying until he was successful. Around the age of 13, he managed to get out and stay out. The world is unforgiving, but he has never looked back. He's been challenged with the same struggles as any teen does on the streets, but he learned, adapted, and has moved through a couple of cities since leaving. Rosie doesn't think he'll ever quite feel secure, but with each passing year he becomes more of his own person, and looks over his shoulder less and less. -
