people they spend most of their days with on the regular, might eventually become friends with and find things to do outside school obligations

they have a younger sister, but i don't see why cousins or other distant relatives couldn't be an option to interact with. and there's always found family!

alek loves ballet, loves dance as a whole, and finding people who also love it, have a studio and social media presence, would be a step up from making space in their apartment to practice when not at work.

speaking of apartment above, alek doesn't live alone. i'd prefer one of them to be a possible love interest further on down the line, slow burn style, but it's not required. platonic relationships are great too!
