Liv has been assigned to see a therapist once a month, but when things start to go downhill for her again, he recommends coming in more often. Slowly, she starts to open up and trust him, which turns to love, but not without some bumps on the road.
You would be playing the therapist, probably only around a few years older than her. He would genuinely be out to help her, but end up falling for her. It’s a major rule break, so he tries to distance himself from her, which triggers her issues and sends her spiraling. He could even be in a relationship or be married, but that’s not a requirement. He then has to help her back up again while they also struggle with their feelings for one another and the potential threat of him loosing his job.

Liv is very fragile and broken, but even though she has trust issues, she’s still easily manipulated. Your guy sees this in her and takes an interest in her quite like her foster brother used to. He would be from a bad crowd, doing drugs or even worse, recruiting naive girls into being prostitutes or do porn. He takes a liking to her and she gets sucked in to this bad world, needing his validation, willing to do everything to be loved, not wanting to be abandoned again. He might be manipulating her in the beginning, but he ends up really falling for her and wanting her out of the bad environment, seeing what it does to her.
