  • // Inside of the forest itself the creatures and beings who call it home go about lives of their own, Marigold included! He's more than the hauntingly sad spirit people tend to assume he is. He is very much a solid, living being, and he loves to explore the large expanse of the forest. However he does tend to stick close to his lake to avoid being scolded by the fae who he calls his family, as they tend to worry he'll travel too far and could be hurt by a wandering human. Animals don't worry them too much as Marigold seems to have a way with calming them, staying on their good sides. One of a handful of gifts he seems to have.
  • // Surprisingly there's plenty to do within the forest to pass the time; chat with his woodland friends, explore his favorite parts of the forest, make music and sing- but most of all he enjoyed studying the little things he had collected from the world outside of the forest. Things either left behind by human travelers or things he had taken when given the chance to. Sometimes people even leave him things, but those are usually folks who don't fear the rumors people make of him. And while he can't read nor write he still likes to collect books with writing in them just to admire. His favorite things are sketches he finds inside of some books that people have made, or sketches drawn besides notes.
  • // Marigold is given little gifts by the fae and other beings who dwell in the forest but his favorite is perhaps by far his lyre gifted to him by one of the few faun who live in the further corners of the forest. This instrument is his choice to play during his moments of singing. All of his belongings are placed by the lake where he rests and even sleeps. Marigold is drawn to this lake for some reason and its become his choice for when he needs to rest, be it within the water or at the edge of the shore of the small lake. In fact he can breath beneath its waters as is with any body of water, he isn't sure why but he obviously doesn't complain.
