The Cratanog, also known as the Elder Sign of Izsaling'torth. It once used to represent the wisdom and eternal balance of all things, both of which were concepts that Izsaling'torth used to hold within her dominion of power. Ironically, the abomination was the farthest from wisdom or balance. In the present, the Elder Sign has lost most of its meaning, instead becoming an excuse to commit hideous acts in the name of a being who no longer cares.

When used properly, it becomes a protective sign against the throes of madness. It is also the tattoo on Isa's upper back.
