    Like a moth to a flame, is how one would describe their encounter with Khali. The air about him is identical to that of a king. Confidence and jurisdiction drizzles from his person. Sultry and smooth like velvet, his rich voice arrests the attention of those around him. He wears a smile that's radiant and amiable. The kind that empowers, the kind that leaves you breathless, the kind that gives your paltry life a sliver of significance because his eyes are on you and you alone: the object of his admiration.

    Ah, but his eyes don't match.. Not that it matters anymore. You were late to catch on.

    Behind the allure is a chilling entity- unstable, sever, and malignant. His smile says one thing, but his intentions are fatal. It's never becoming to be the center of his attention, no matter how flattering it may be. Khali is a vodun. He has a lust for carnage and butchery, and to flirt with him is to flirt with death. It takes but a moment for his mood to change as animosity sits not far underneath his facade. He does not love and he does not care nor is he really capable of either.

    HE SMILES THAT CONTAGIOUS SMILE, LAUGHS THAT DULCET LAUGH.. SO WHY THE DISCOMFORT?

    . . .eye contact to khali is imperative. It's rude to look away.

    . . . the vodun embodies narcissism, yet unassumingly. the traits in him are more subtle at least to the public eye. he has no trouble reducing one's existence to that of an object that was merely put in place to benefit him, and they wouldn't know the wiser until under the knife.

    . . . he has dangerous outbursts that occur often in private. they are arbitrary and most times unpredictable even in the seconds preceding them.

    . . . there is no meeting in the middle with the vodun. he will not budge.

    . . . his posture is very nonchalant, but his eyes and ears are acute.

    . . . he smokes often, but it's no cigarette that you know of.
