Alfie Farrell, born in 1995, is born in Manchester, Great Britain on a warm summer evening. He was born exactly twenty minutes before his twinsister Ayla, making them completely inseperable since the moment they were born. Growing up they were always together, they would sleep together, play together, hold hands at dinner together, and even invented their own language that made it unbearable for their parents to try and control their need for each other as siblings.
His sister Ayla was always the wild one who could never sit still for five minutes, this was however not the same for Alfie. He was sensitive from the moment he was born, a little boy who was always overwhelmed with the world around him - he would cry when he watched a movie where someone was hurt even if it was a little scratch, he would cry if a plant in their garden die, he would cry if his sister didn't sleep in the same bed as him. He always a sensitive boy, and he was always someone who had to be protected.
Ayla and Alfies lifes were however far from the normal british household. No, they came from a long line of a secret time traveller society. From the moment they were born, they were made aware that once their time would come: their time to travel back in time and keep something terrible from happening. Their parents had done it, their grandparents had done it, their aunts and uncles had done it, their cousins had done it. It was only a matter of time before their time would come. However, they could not stand by and both went of on their own career ventures, waiting for the right moment.

Whilst his sister Ayla turned to men who could satisfy her wild nature, Alfie found safety in helping others. He had always had a passion for helping, so when he discovered what doctors were and what they could do he knew this was the right career path for him and it was everything he wanted and needed in life to feel like he was using his love of the world and the people in it, for something useful. He educated himself at Manchester university, before moving to London for a residence.
Alfie knew early on in life that he wasn't like most of the people around him. He knew that he was attracted to men like other boys his age was attracted to the female gender - but Alfie always found men more beautiful, like they were walking talking statues one more impressive than the one before. His sister Ayla was the first he came out to, and she was easily the one most supportive of him, she barely bashed an eyelash and just told him 'well what else would you be?' like she had always known even before him. His mother took it well to, and told him she had known since he was little because of how he was and how he saw the world. Alfies father however, did not approve always and had the most difficulty accepting tha this only son was a sensitive boy who liked men. -
