    HEIGHT. 7'2.
    WEIGHT. 476lbs/216kg
    BUILD. Endomorph. Considerably big for an otter. It is believed that he has some form of hereditary gigantism, possibly due to dormant giant's blood running far back in the Edwards' family line.
    TAIL. Thick and stubby.
    PELT. Smooth, velveteen mouse brown fur covers most of his body. His belly, chest and face are lighter, and slightly more silky. All of his fur is hydrophobic.
    EYES. Deep blue.
    HAIR. Short, usually spiked into a small mohawk.
    ACCENT. Lower class cockney.
    VOICE. Boisterous and slurred. Ed's cockney accent is very strong and his speech pattern is heavily tied to his experience in gang culture. He tends to 'segment' his sentences into three or four words, often emphasising the last syllable, for example, "Alright gov. I want you- to waddle upstairs- and fetch me- a nice ol' scotch- eh?". His use of body language is heavy, his head and brow always bobbing along to the rhythm of his speech whilst his hands tend to bounce on emphasised notes. Like his personality, his physicality is generally always friendly - big opened handed gestures, smiles and hand waving indicates his eagerness to befriend... though this also leads to an ignorance of personal space!
    SCENT. Ed has a particularly strong scent; a natural masculine musk thats extremely difficult to wash out. Whilst his body odour isn't always noticable, after physical exertion it becomes quite pungent - particularly as Ed has a habit of hugging those he likes close to him and suffocating them in his stank! He can be encouraged to wear strong perfumes to disguise it, though will only do this if prompted. Some might find his odour quite appealling, though others don't tend to appreciate it so much!
    CLOTHING. Scruffy, minimal and usually custom made. Due to his abnormal size, Ed struggles to find clothes catered for an otter's physique that will fit him. He'll most often be found in 3/4 length cargo shorts or simple tank tops.
    PHYSICAL STRENGTH. Ed's considerable bulk is something he has learned to use well, not only in combat but in social situations as well. He has learned well where to place himself, how to stand and what physicality to use in various contexts. When needed, for example, he knows that simply presenting his full volume to some alongside his resilient personality may be enough to make potential troublemakers back down.
    PHYSICAL WEAKNESS. On the flipside, his size can be a detriment. Though he isn't too big for an average person, he's big for an otter. From struggling to find fitting clothes, turning to fit through doorways, catching unwanted eyes or just repulsing people with his overt forwardness. Some have even attacked Ed with unprovoked hostilities out the blue, because they see him as a 'good challenge'.

    OVERALL DEMENOUR. Warm, uproarious, compassionate and protective.
    FIRST IMPRESSIONS. Ed's bulk usually creates the impression of him as a thug. His strong accent and use of cultural Albion slang creates a slight language barrier between him and most people, one that Ed is persistently and hilariously oblivious to. When struggling to understand him people generally garner their impressions from his tone of voice and body language; in which case, he can easily come across as a brainless lower class bruiser.
    PERSONALITY. Those who look past Ed's crude exterior will find him to be the warmest, kindest and most gentle giant of his type. Ed tends to see himself as the protective big brother of absolutely everyone he meets, even those vastly superior to him in both size and status. Though his unflinching forwardness and intensity can be off-putting, he is always genuinely interested in others and encouragingly honest. Ed will attempt to befriend and learn about everyone he meets, employing genuine charm and heartfelt care in their well-being. He even recognises when others reject his overly-friendly approach and is unoffended in toning it down. He is overtly physical, often wrapping his thick arms around people and keeping a chunky hand on their shoulders as friendly communication. This is not to say that Ed is a pushover; he will still challenge rudeness or cruelty, and is the first to defend what he sees as 'the right thing to do'. When it comes to hostilities he will still fight ruthlessly and recognise the necessity of killing some people. But even in meeting the most arrogant, tyrannical or corrupt of individuals Ed will always try to admire their positive traits and ponder on the reason for their bad qualities.
    ALIGNMENT. Neutral good.
    TEMPERMENT. Within social situations, Ed is very difficult to provoke. In some rare circumstances, however, his rage can become terrifyingly out of character - those close to him can generally always calm him down.
    MENTAL HEALTH. Extremely resilient and healthy. His compassionate wisdom and naturally affinity to healthy well-being far outshines his spiritually secure mentor Echo. Ed can bare the harshest of traumas whilst coming out the other side stronger because of it. He cares extensively for the well-being of others and will always try to console them, often quite effectively.
    SEXUALITY. Ed is a 3, but lacks the experience that's typical of many who frequent Guildereim. This isn't due to lack of opportunity but a broad respect of others and caution in his own pacing. Simply put, Ed would much prefer to drink and socialise with someone than fuck them. He'll kindly reject most open advances in favour of simple companionship. This being said, he still possesses the same desires as anyone would and has an eye for pretty people - he wouldn't be above indulging with someone if in the right mood!
    POSITION. Given Ed's personality, he's likely to prefer a dominant physical position. He's a big spoon, through and through. Mentally, he requires much more reassurance and guidence and is probably more submissive in behaviour. He has spent most of his life surrounded by other otters who are considerably smaller than him, so would feel most comfortable with a smaller partner.
    ROMANCE. Engaged to a certain tiger.
    LIKES. Fighting, drinking, gambling, sleeping, boobs n' butts, crude jokes and companionship. And fish.
    DISLIKES. Cruelty, arrogance, tyrants, cheaters, injustice, wearing clothes and cheese. Cheese is wrong.

    BIRTHPLACE. Ed was born in the city of Londra, in Albion, and had spent the vast majority of his life there. The Edwards family wasn't well educated and close to absolutely poverty, possessing only basic living standards. The slums his family occupied (known as the Otter Slums by Londra locals) were heavily populated by other otters, to the point where hundreds of them flooded the streets wall to wall. Those born in the Otter Slums rarely left, and the otters had their own distinct culture and slang. They were highly communal, but wary of outsiders.
    FAMILY. The 'Edwards' family was quite popular in the Otter Slums. Ed is the eldest child of Doris and Adam Edwards. The family home consisted of Ed's parents, two uncles, three grand-parents, one niece and two nephews and all of Ed's younger siblings; four brothers and seven sisters, cooped together in close quarters. Ed is particularly close to his younger brother Ryuo.
    CHILDHOOD. Ed earned a reputation as being quite the scoundrel in his youth. He never attended school but was educated at home by his uncles and grand-parents. Despite being underfed, Ed was already a big lad and showing the same protective instincts in his childhood that he carried over to adulthood. He began working as a chinmey sweep when he was seven, but had to stop when he was nine because he no longer fit in any of the chinmeys.
    ADOLESCENCE. At around twelve, Ed started to grow alarmingly big. He quickly surpassed the height of his parents at age fourteen, and then by sixteen was easily the largest otter in the Otter Slums. When he showed no signs of slowing down, his parents discerned that Ed may have inherited a genetic condition relating to giant's blood carried by their distance ancestors. At age eighteen, Ed's growth seemed to slow down. Whilst others were alarmed by his size, Ed embraced it. He was as large as some of the thugs belonging to other species, and quickly became famous in the slums for his protective nature. This also meant he was targetted by local gangs often, and quickly learned how to defend himself. He got a job as a bodyguard for the local tavern owner, earning a considerable amount of money for his poverty stricken family.
    ADULTHOOD. Wanting to provide even more money for his family, Ed rather desperately looked into organised crime. He spent a few years engaged with various Londra gangs, honing his skills as a fighter and a gangster. He served as 'the muscle' on a number of 'jobs', earning himself a considerable fortune, good favour with some of Londra's more prominant gangs and the gangster nickname Eddie the Head after breaking open a padlocked door and headbutting it. Whilst he never killed anyone undeserving, Ed ultimately couldn't maintain the immoral code of practice the criminal gangs employed and retired. He did, however, catch the attention of Echo Keung, who took Ed on as an employee. Under Keung's guidence, Ed became a far better fighter and earned much more for his family, eventually taking on far more dangerous jobs outside of Londra that weren't morally compromising. Seeking some stability, Echo agreed that Ed should take on permanent employment aboard the Sunbird as a mercenary, effectively ending his partnership with Echo but opening up a whole range of opportunities for himself.

    COMBAT STYLE. Whilst Ed isn't a career proficient martial artist or supervillain killer like his mentor, he's still a keen and able-bodied combatant. He uses his size and density to his advantage, lacking in speed but possessing a punch that could give a dragon a concussion! Ed tends to favour bare-knuckle boxing as his 'go to' fighting style, but as also been taught some Tai Chi techniques to pacifiy more 'challenging' foes.
    DIET. As you'd expect of an otter, Ed like fish. His diet is extremely varied, and he eats a lot more than most otters due to his size.
    GIGANTISM. Ed has never in his life had the attention of a proper, qualified doctor. In fact, the experience would probably quite unnerve him. His unusually large size is, as his parents predicted, down to a dormant genetic condition laying within the Edwards' family line. Ed has never investigated nor paid any heed to it, as he sees his larger bulk as an advantage and a huge part of his collective persona. In addition, as Ed spends more time outside of the Londra slums he was born in, he's becoming used to seeing other people that are the same height as him; its only his species that makes his size unusual. Whilst it's suspected that it may have something to do with giant's blood, Ed is quite happy remaining ignorant!
    SLANG. Ed's accent is strong enough as it is. Combined with the downright bizarre language he speaks, the otter is often difficult to decipher. Most of the slang he uses is exclusive to the Otter Slums he was born in, and so even those proficient in the cockney tongue may struggle to follow it. Ed is usually completely oblivious to others misunderstanding of his speech, even after having been told multiple times.
    NAME ORIGINS. Yes, Edward's name is correct. In fact, his full unabbreviated name is Edward Edward Edwards. The reason for it is down to the nature of his parents (both of whom are stubborn characters with little education, to say the least). Ed's surname, Edwards was fixed, and it was tradition in his father's line to name the first born boy 'Edward'. The middle name was his mother's choice, who also wanted to name her first born child Edward after her brother. The two didn't quite understand that they could simply name their child Edward once in honour of Ed's uncle and grandfather. In order to honour them both properly, Edward was named Edward twice. His parents reasoned that it would be okay, of course, because then Ed would just be Ed the Third! They learned, too late, that generational titles don't work like that...
