Maverick is small in stature, has brown, wavy hair that frames his face and usually hangs to his shoulders, a green eye and a silver eye, and a slender, albeit somewhat rounded nose that turns up at the end. He has a slim body and a tapered waist with about fifty scars scattered about. These scars are usually about an inch wide and can range from three inches to eight inches long. He has two on each hand, several down his back and chest, at least a dozen on his legs, many on his arms, and one on the back of his neck that's about four inches long. Because of these, Maverick will normally wear longsleeves and pants, but he will occasionally make exceptions due to the aesthetic of his outfit.
These scars are from none other than his parents, Neptune and Maddox Pierce, who shunned him for many things, amongst their reasons were his homosexuality, as well as his affiliation with humans. He was given these scars from the age of 6-19. However, although he hates the people who gave them to him, Maverick does actually love the scars sometimes, because they prove that he stood up for himself, and didn't waver in his beliefs.
