✑ Ever since she was a child, there had always been something...peculiar about Shiloh. She always seemed to know things--not necessarily things she wasn't supposed to know, but things she shouldn't logically be able to. How did a toddler know her aunt was going to visit in the afternoon when she'd never met her aunt and the woman hadn't told anyone?

The older Shiloh got, the more she realized these occurrences weren't just coincidence. Every now and then she mentioned her strange little knowledges and premonitions, but she was always dismissed as imagining things. Eventually she stopped bringing it up, but the occurrences didn't stop.

She attempted to look into it herself--was it ESP? Some spiritual disturbance? Something else? She could never quite figure it out, and she could never quite figure out how to use it. The knowledge and premonitions come and go whether she likes it or not, and even if she can't quite harness it, she's begun to be able to identify when it's happening.
