    Ramsay is a traveling chef who has attained a meager amount of fame in the places he has visited--and occasionally infamy, for at times he is hired to work with or train other professional chefs, and he is quick to tell them what he thinks of their work. In general, however, and despite his reputation, he is a gentle fellow with a huge heart.

    Ramsay is a large goron from the Eldin region of Hyrule. Well into adulthood, he shows signs of his age in the forms of friendly wrinkles and a big white beard, which he styles into five neat segments. His eyes twinkle like chips of black glass, always scrutinizing everything and everyone around him. He wears fairly traditional goron attire, which is to say not much at all, though a canvas chef's apron does fall from his waist. While generally gorons go barefoot, and Ramsay does sport thick stony soles, he often is shod in a pair of wooden geta to help him traverse swampier lands. He also wears a bandolier that sports a variety of cutlery, mostly knives, which can be quite a menacing sight.

    When on the road, Ramsay carries a huge basket on his back, packed to the brim with rare ingredients, materials, and supplies. Sometimes his basket seems bottomless, but this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, for Ramsay is good friends with the koroks of the deep woods and they have shared their secret ways with him. It's not uncommon to see one or two of them sitting on his shoulders, or poking their heads out of trees as he passes. As he walks along the roads of Hyrule, he uses a massive wooden spoon, carved from a tree, as a walking stick.
