Sora the Feral Youth

    The forest was full of ambient noise- to him, it was silence, blending into the background of his mind while on the hunt. He had the scent, that was what mattered- a trace of fur and pheromones, fear on the fringes of his mind. Not his own fear- a den of rabbits, and somewhere further, something bigger, a deer.

    It helped when you smelled like one of them- he’d shifted into his human shape by now, but the smell of fur and sweat, and beast still held to his skin. Sora moved slowly forward, pausing after a few moments- and then resumed again. Low to the ground, nearly on all fours- why he’d wasted the energy shifting was a mystery to all but the boy.

    The lands belong to some lord, or duke- whatever he was, Sora didn’t care. This world belongs to nature first- the gods, man, none of them mattered. There were predators for all.

    The rabbits ate the grass.
    The wolves ate the rabbits.
    The bears ate the wolves.
    Man ate bears.
    Gods ate man.
    And in the end, nature consumed even the highest of beings, and the cycle resumed.

    Before he could think, it was done. There was no reason to go after that deer- the den had plenty of rabbits, and he’d made easy work driving them out. With this, he’d have a delicious roast. Xi could handle cooking.

  • Description

    Sora was the younger of the two, though far more likely to be seen out and about. He was the traditional younger brother- in his human appearance he was a runt, with unkept silver hair and a mouth that seemed impossible to keep shut for long. Unlike Xi, he hardly seemed to feel the need to bundle open- he wore a rangers jacket wide open, exposing a bare chest. Tucked into canvas pants, and knee high boots, Sora was simply the epitome of a wild child through and through.

    In case his appearance didn’t clue it in, Sora was unhinged; he didn’t bother himself with morals, taking what he liked and fighting when he pleased. It gave his older brother a heart attack half the time, but he seemed bent on experiencing all that life had to offer- including the beatings and punishments when he was caught.

    In his shifted form, Sora is once again a runt, a little above 4 feet on all fours. His fur is somewhere between lava and smoke grey, while his eyes maintain their golden yellow hue.

    Despite his age, Sora has yet to develop as either an alpha or omega. He’s not bothered by it at all, and frankly seems to enjoy missing out on most of the issues that come with it.
