Azizah The Sorceress

When Azizah was still in her mothers womb their caravan was ambushed by desert goblins. Azizah’s father wasn’t a fighter and he was easily slayed alongside other men. Azizah’s mother was enslaved and taken by the desert goblins. While low ranking goblins were mindless creatures, their ruler was wise and he could tell that just being brought was different from others.

And he was right when Azizah’s mother died during the birth. He took a human girl under his wing. Even if a girl was just born the mana radiating from her was intense, and so the goblin came up with a sinister plan. He treated Azizah like his own, giving everything she needed. With years passing Azizah grew into a teen, so did her power.

Being surrounded by goblins since birth she didn’t know any better. She was one of them, and when her father told that evil monsters wanted to harm her family. Azizah didn’t hesitate when she arrived on the battlefield alongside her father. Unleashing elements of the other goblin tribe, the battle lasts only a minute. Those who didn’t die submitted, day by day, week by weak. He used Azizah’s powers to increase power in his territory. Those who tried to resist and fight back were quickly taken care of by Azizah.

Of course the girl thought she was doing well, she wanted to protect her family, and didn’t even consider that a man she called father would be abusing her gifts. And so with time the goblin built his empire, becoming a rich and powerful Sultan, and Azizah served as his seer, and personal bodyguard. Azizah wasn’t the only child, she had plenty of goblin brothers and sisters. But when she learned that one of her oldest brothers mysteriously disappeared, Azizah’s heart was restless; she begged her father to let her go search for him.

Eventually Sultan allowed her to leave, but she had to do it during the night so no one saw her leave. And so when night came Azizah left her home in search of her older brother. Azizah traveled far following the same path her brother did. Azizah found herself in an unknown land filled with sky high tree’s and cold weather, people looking and speaking differently from her. Some even avoided her, but that didn’t deter Azizah from her task.
