Strings

(Can change dependant on the RP, but I keep this as a foundation for how he came to be)

In an old toy store in the early 1980's String's "father" created him. Hoping to create the perfect marionette as the centerpiece for his store he worked until he created Strings. One day, Strings came to life, and his creator took off his strings.

Strings became the main attraction of the toy store, bringing smiles to the patrons, especially the children. And when the store was closed, he tended to the needs of his creator, as if he were his own father, and his creator treated Strings in the same way.

However, as the years went on, the two had a declining relationship. Strings' creator often spent a great deal of his time drinking and staying out late at night. This spurred arguments and bickering between the two, which escalated into Strings being beaten and hit by his creator.

Eventually, this lead to Strings anger boiling over. During one time when his creator was hitting him, he struck him back. The injury cause String's creator to become wheelchair bound, and a few months later, he died.

With no family, and no one who wanted to buy it, the toy store was closed permanently, and Strings was left behind and forgotten. Months passed as he lived alone in his closed down home, his once brightly colored suit, hair and eyes fading to black.

Months passed, and Strings, so dejected and somber, decided he had enough. Winding up one of his two music boxes, which his creator had made for him, he climbed into his old box, which he used to pop out of to entertain the patrons, and fell asleep to the music of his box.

It has been years, and poor Strings is still asleep in his box, the slow melody of his box keeping him asleep.
