Winfield Duncan Scott

Winfield Duncan Scott is the chess club captain, and star mathlete at Hartland High, Virginia. Win was born in Minnesota and lived there for most of his life before his father got a job working for a Northrop Grumman subsiderary designing jet engines for drones. His mother is a lawyer, who quickly set up shop in the small town, leaving Win on his own for the most part. Win has a little sister, named Diana, who is 6.

Win is introverted, empathetic, insightful, shy, and determined. He is not particularly athletic but for some reason, his parents are insistent on him becoming an outdoorsman and so frequently force him to participate in summer camps, survivalist outings, things of that nature. Win is an excellent swimmer and fisherman, but pretty shit at most other aspects of camping and survialism.
