  • Recent History

    • When Brutale first leaves their domain behind, they spends a long time as a miserable vagrant. They pick up odd jobs now and then. They reject any charity they are offered. For a long time they don't make lasting or significant connections with any other people.
    • Brutale takes on a job assisting a blacksmith. They didn't plan to stay for long, but finds peace in metal work and pursues the trade long term. They forge swords and use their hair to enchant a few. The blacksmith was unaware of Brutale's enchanting experiments until customers heard of them. Adventurers clamored to get one of their own. Far from being helpful for the shop, the blacksmith's reputation plummeted when most of the swords sold were ordinary. Brutale left without warning before the knowledge of their tampering came to light.
    • Many of their long term encounters end like that. Even the mildest disruption to the serenity they find causes them to flee or ruin the situation. They pick up other trades and skills here and there but none that went as long as the blacksmithing gig. A few occupations they picked up over the years include: farmer, carpenter, stone mason, courtesan, assassin.
    • Their wandering brings them to Guildereim. They haven't been here long. They decide to spend their cash reserves a bit and sample the delights of the island. They'll worry about picking up a job when their gold depletes.

  • Seeking

    • Entertainment or relaxation
      Brutale is looking for a reason to settle into Guildereim for a while. A person who can give them some kind of joy or solace might make them stay a while
    • Employment
      The coin they brought with them will run out eventually. They'll take odd jobs but are open to learning a new profession or revisiting an old one.
      They can make use of these skills OR provide relevant training where applicable:
      -Blacksmithing or weapon/armor maintenance
      -Mercenary / Assassin work
      -Gardening / Farming / plant care / animal husbandry
      -Those who know they are a unicorn may attempt to hire them to use their magic.
      -Since they are bound to keep oaths and promises, they can be a trusted intermediary or middleman- so long as both parties understand and believe that they are supernaturally oath-bound.
    • Fae beings / Beings with strong ties to nature
      Brutale avoids them and they generally piss them off but wouldn't that be a fun scenario lol
    • VERY casual lovers
      Any sexual scenes will always fade to black. They're more likely to have one night stands than an ongoing casual relationship. OOC, don't expect these types of relationships to develop to something more. IC, your character is allowed to hope for it in vain lol.
