Aloysius, originally born Elena, is the only standing child of Duke Achard Fitzroy. The only son to take on the family legacy. His late mother Edith was only able to bare the Duke a single healthy child, although she did in fact try for two. As a young child, Aloysius was written up as useless simply due to the gender assigned to him at birth. He was raised in dresses, given dolls to play with and told he'd make a fine wife one day to another noblemen. The child wasn't hardly given the time of day....especially not after Edith became pregnant with her second. Another chance for the Duke to have a heir. It was unfortunate that the babe, a sweet little boy, died days after his birth. Just after Aloysius tenth birthday. Edith was stricken with grief, her depression taking her not but a short year after the death of her second child.

From that day, Aloysius became the next man of the house. Either by his own choice, or by his father's. He put away his dresses and stopped playing with dolls, taking on the name his mother had given his baby brother before his passing. The world never knew who Elena was. They only ever knew Aloysius. Only the closest of those to the family understood what the young man hid in order to make a success of himself. He grew into his new found manhood and slowly started to take his people by storm. Charismatic and cunning, Louis was nothing short of loved by his future subjects. Though his sarcastic tongue and quick temper weren't the most endearing qualities he possessed, the soon-to-be Duke was never seen as anything less than what his father built him up to be. For behind closed doors, Achard made sure his son would never make a mockery of him or their family name. He wouldn't have himself humiliated, no matter how many times he had to raise his hand to his stubborn child. Forming him into exactly what he'd dreamed of the day he married his dear wife.

Extra facts: Louis had a slight stutter as a child, it's been well trained out of him now....but makes an appearance in times of great distress or exhaustion occasionally.
