    In the continent of Denestroshka, magic is used by a secretive council to wipe clean the emotions of everyone for the sake of unobstructed rule. Without fear, desire, or hatred, no one pays any mind to the fact that they are victims of oppression under a tyrannical government.

    In the realm's capital city, somewhere deep inside of the Golden District, a child with abnormal traits was born to a slum mother. With characteristics not clearly pertaining to either a man or a woman, the child was seen as objectively defective and given to the authorities for proper biological disposal. However, a small insurrection was brewing of people somehow able to break free from this suppression of emotion, and one of them stole away the child before she could meet her end.

    The child became known as "Est Pelendine," after the street where her savior had intervened.
