Mido

Mido was born not long before the found of Harper Mere. He was the son of Righ Morag's Wolf-blooded sister Twila and her Eshu lover Abbad. Sadly his parents lives were cut short during the Forsaken's war against the Spirits and Pure Tribes of LA. Morag, who had lost her own children during a raid, took over the guardianship of Mido at approximately the same time she had taken her place as one of the founders of Harper Mere. For years Mido was raised more as one of the Uratha's Wolf-blooded, in spite of his kith blood. Most even believed he would have his First Change and succeed Morag as Righ since he had been born during the full moon and would be an Ahroun like her.

Of course, if the Uratha had paid closer attention they would have noticed his lust for adventure long before his Chrysalis. He often snuck away from his den parent caretakers in order to swap stories with those few Uratha that left Harper Mere. He even devised what he believed was a brilliant way to be one of the first to hear their stories and they came and went: Become a mechanic. He trained to become a mechanic for the handful of vehicles at the Mere. This position also got him closer to the Nockers, who delighted him endlessly with their antics. It did not hurt that unlike with Nockers, when Mido worked on a vehicle it rarely exploded.

Eventually, to the dismay of his den parents, Mido entered the dreaming and after his Fosterage learned his true name and nature. He was an Eshu and was destined to travel outside the Mere. Morag still did not let him leave Harper Mere until he could at least pass for 18 among the humans, but to make up for the annoyance this caused she gave him a present on his "eighteenth" birthday.
