Casmir

Somewhere in 18th Century East Europe, Kazimierz, the son of a nobleman, a hunter and an outcast from society--lost his life to the cold. He then found himself walking amongst the wretched spirits of the forgotten Underworld. He was claimed by the dukes as a servant for their every beck and call and reduced to the status of a hound. However, given time, the boy managed to find ways to swindle the very forces that govern life and death. Few know of how he'd attained the knowledge he had. All they know is that he can now cross back and forth between the realm of the living and dead, as easily as passing over the threshold to one's home. One might encounter him as a voice on the wind, a shadow, a human or animal. Some may know him as a trickster. Others might call him a wayward spirit. Others yet would call him a friend.
