Terry Hatchford

Terrence "Terry" Hatchford has lived his whole life in Shepard's Way with his single dad in a modest two-story house. Since he was sixteen, he has been working in his father's small local diner, Shepard's Hook, strictly as a cook; part time dinner shift in high school, now the breakfast shift in his adulthood.

A generally aimless and unambitious being, he spends almost all of his free time debunking anything related to ghost activity and the occult. His hobby has led him to create his blog and youtube channel, both named Terror Stomping, where he unabashedly and relentlessly criticizes and nay-says anything that even remotely has an air of paranormality around it. Both are equally unpopular, especially within the superstitious community of the small New England town.

Not the most friendly of individuals, he isn't just skeptical of the paranormal, but of people as well. Having grown up in a small town, it's been fairly easy for him to dislike most of the community, although begrudgingly acknowledging some of them being not so bad. It doesn't necessarily take a whole lot of bending over backwards to convince him you're not out to get him, or in it for yourself, but in his humble opinion, most are guilty until proven innocent.

His moodiness is often juxtaposed by his father's relentless cheeriness and unconditional love and support.

The angsty aura the 25 year old carries is perhaps punctuated by his punkish attire: a flannel button-down, decidedly unbuttoned, over what is usually some ironic ghost-related tee, accompanied by ripped jeans and a pair of Chuck Taylors or sturdy boots.
It doesn't help his case that he is fairly short.
