    • Connections to a Criminal Underworld — anyone who has ties to black market vendors or suppliers, drug and weapon smuggling, and those in the slave trade.
    • Business Associates — buyers; those desperate enough to seek a hefty loan, hire a hitman, or resort to drug use to get by. Anyone who's not afraid of falling in debt to the mobster.
    • Underlings — someone to handle the day-to-day tasks he needs, such as a secretary or confidante; his right hand man, so to speak. Potentially someone who owed the ape a favor, and is paying off their debts with their skills.
    • Potential Slaves or Consorts — someone who will wait on him hand and foot, akin to a maid/butler, or a body or two to warm his bed and keep him company. This could be anything from grooming, running errands, or sexual favors; whatever the slave is best suited for.
    • Romantic Interest — this doesn't necessarily have to be an "official thing" between characters, but as a plot device to put the ape in a more submissive and lesser position. Pining for a love he can never have, or chasing an unrequited lover. Longing is so cruel...

    The hulking beast of an ape was an apt businessman, using every opportunity to peddle his services and make more coin. The more someone became reliant and indebted to him, the greater he felt his control was over them. While these are not the only ways to connect to the mobster, these are a decent pathway to start that conversation. If you're not looking for business, you can always schmooze and booze your way to his good side.



    Loan Shark
    When people are at their lowest point, and desperate for some extra cash to pay off their debts, that's where the great ape came into play. With money at his disposal, he could immediately loan them everything they needed, and more, but for a steep price. With extortionate interest rates that one would almost never be able to pay back, most were left indebted to him in the end...unless you had other means of paying back what you owed. Maybe you can do him a favor?

    Personal Protection
    If you're looking to keep yourself safe while traveling or conducting your affairs, you can rest easy knowing this hulking beast of a man can be there to ensure you're covered. He can hire the appropriate bodyguards or mercenaries for your entourage, or be more discrete and work for more personal cases.

    Smuggling
    Be it weapons, drugs, or slaves, everyone has a vice. And when you're looking to bring in one of your more "exotic imports", this shrewd businessman knows exactly how to make that happen. Not only does he know who to talk to to find the things you're looking for, but he also may be keen to sell direct, if he has what you're looking for in stock.

    Hired Hit
    Are you a business owner who's looking to wipe out a competitor? A jilted lover who seeks revenge on the one who betrayed you? Maybe you just plain don't like someone? For the right price, the mobster can put a hit out for that person, and have them removed from the gene pool. And for an added fee—or if it gets personal—he'll do it himself.

    Money Laundering
    Are you already one of his more wealthy clientele? Looking to hide some of your more debaucherous and ill-gotten gains? Look no further, for if you pay a small fee, the beast can cook the books for you and make your latest transactions look legitimate—even inflate the worth! Or if you're looking to make a certain recent purchase disappear from the records, he has ways of getting his hands on the trade ledgers and wiping a debt away.

    Male Escort
    The least common thing he's hired for, but still a service he offers. This is more for someone who wants to attend an event and be decked out to the nines, eat and drink their fill, and mingle with high-society for an evening, while having some arm candy to keep them company. What happens beyond that is between two consenting adults.
