Nikolas Vestars

Tucked away in a cabin on the outskirts of Riften, Nikolas works as a mage-for-hire; a mercenary of sorts, taking contracts in the numerous cities of Tamriel. His skills are limitless as his knowledge grows, as in his free time he wants nothing more than to sit by the fireplace with a good book. He is able to conjure spirits, control the minds of the undead, and speak to animals (something he picked up from a fellow student at the College). Living many lifetimes, he had been able to experience a multitude of ways of life in Tamriel. Nothing he would trade for the one he came to have with Quilla, his wife. Quilla had always been excited to go along with Nikolas on his contracts, yet he had an awful feeling before they left for the last. He ignored the feeling. She met her demise during an ambush a few leaps from their home. Because of this he often blamed himself for what happened, but what was there to do when he was restrained, by magic stronger than his? She has haunted his mind for years, unrelenting with the nightmares that plague him. It is why he had sworn himself to grow powerful, and stronger than the mage who attacked him all those years before.
