    Yuri, from any first impression, is relatively standoffish and blunt. She speaks her mind honestly, and oftentimes, her opinions aren't the sweetest. She especially hates having to go to school and constantly complains about it. Usually, she isn't very inclined to be helpful towards other people unless she feels like they really need it, although she isn't an unkind person-- just largely unmotivated.

    In general, she's not an enthusiastic person unless things like her favorite games and shows are brought up, to which she'll quickly reveal a childishly heroic and idealistic side of her. She doesn't even try to hide it; it's more that she has no reason to show it most of the time. She wishes for a more interesting world and feels that the one she lives in is so boring and unappealing that she has no reason to try and be successful in it. She'd rather play games.

  • Biography


    Yuri spent the first six years of her life with her parents, who had never actually planned on having a child. As such, they were always busy and Yuri was usually given some sort of game to play or was sat in front of the television. Her parents never really gave her chances to develop interests. Instead, she immersed herself in fantasy worlds and stories.

    After the age of six, her parents unloaded Yuri into the hands of an orphanage. She then was given to a couple who had offered to care for her. She was hurt from being cast aside, being bitter towards the family as a small child. She never really made many friends at school, being someone who was generally more preoccupied with her own thoughts and fantasies. She thought the world was boring.

    She got back into video games and visual novels when she was around thirteen or fourteen and hasn't stopped playing them since. She doesn't have many friends and prefers 2D characters rather than actual human interaction-- in fact, her room, where she spends most of her time, is plastered with posters of her favorite shows and characters, especially many figures and pillows of her favorite waifu.

    She's a borderline high-school dropout and completely incompetent, living off of premade meals in her attic-room of her grandparent's house. Deep down she wishes she could be a hero for real and not just in the fantasy worlds her mind is constantly in.
