William Xavier Waterston

Dr. Waterston was born in San Francisco to two fiercely proud members of the British Empire. While he spent his summers at his parents home in the Bay Area where they both worked in the growing Silicon Valley, the rest of William's time was spent in boarding school an ocean away. His school mates called him Billy Waters and he was a natural goalkeeper when they played football. However, when his friends began to pick on other students he quickly stepped in. He got in more than a few scuffles, but normally his imposing height stopped fights before they started and instead he helped any injured victims of the bullies.

This would eventually make more sense when he unexpectedly entered the dreaming in his teen years. He learned that he had lived many lives as a protector and more than a few as a healer. To his surprise a schoolmate and one of his teachers were also Changelings, though neither of them were trolls like him. The teacher fostered both he and his classmate for the remainder of their time in school and eventually that very teacher wrote him the recommendation that got him into Barts. Of course, it helped that a handful of Changelings already worked at Barts.

He spent his time in medical school inspiring students, teachers, and researchers as he learned the ins and outs of the medical field. Being a changeling with a relatively intact memory of some of his more recent reincarnations, and an intelligence beyond many of his peers, he was able to complete medical school in half the time it took most. It was by no means easy, but he knew a Changeling's life was often shorter than a humans and had not intention of wasting his shortened life in school.

Initially, he moved back to San Francisco to be near his parents, but with them being regular humans unaware of his fae soul a distance had grown between them. In time he heard rumors from his fellow Changelings that there were interesting things going on Los Angeles and some Hunter had apparently set up a clinic for non-humans. At first he traveled to Los Angeles in order to investigate and likely stop whatever experiments might be happening at this clinic, but things changed when he met Gabo. The hunter had a real interest in fostering alliances between supernatural beings and helping those within Los Angeles who chose to live decent lives.

It did not take long for William move his practice to Los Angeles and foster his own alliance with Father James. With his new connections in Hunter Society William had Gabo's friend Icecoldkilla444 "procure" their first Ambulance. Now there are three ambulances that work for Aguilar Clinic called the Valkyries and Dr. Waterston spends most nights on call, ready to rush out as the first responder for medical (and occasionally martial) aid.

He has a bulldog named Bertram.
