    The man of many names, Amandus Lelius keeps up many appearances. His original name was given by his mother, shortly after he was born. Amandus; lovable, worthy of love. Lelius; the one born at night. She had high hopes for her child, and showered him with love. The boy was forever scarred by the force in which he was taken, though he was fortunate to not see his parents' death, only the aftermath: the pool of blood, seeping into her skirts as he was pulled away.
    The person who pulled him away from his parents looked nothing like him, his skin pale and his beard long. He spoke in a foreign tongue, he smelled weird, his hands were rough, and there were sticks in his beard. But his tone stayed gentle, and the boy had no one left to turn to.

    When at his most violent, made-up to look like the devil, he is best known as Cars, a person who has war-like characteristics; a fighter. It was given to him by Celts who feared him, and viewed him as only a terror and demon. The name has power, and he knows how to wield it.

    The first name he was given, by those who stole him from the south, and one that was oft repeated, was Doran, Stranger, exile, fist. This name always came with an air of superiority, or an upturned nose.

    There were times, few and far between, that some called him a mixture of the two: Doran Cars, as if it were a full name, meaning something like The war-like stranger, The exiled fighter... While it still irked him, it held the power of the latter, and that was always something he could flex.

    Some, those closest to him, call him Amaan; The one who is fearless, calm, truthworthy, and loved of all. If he feels the person calling him it does not understand the gravity of the name, he does not allow them to use it for him.
