Millie the Mouse

Tenets of the spear create warriors willing to hold their ground and raise their weapons in the face of insurmountable odds. Though simple to grasp, the spear is a difficult weapon to master.

- A spear is a weapon of extended reach, it gives those without the natural advantage of a larger size equal footing.
- Quick and practiced movements keep the wielder out of reach yet the spear remains within striking range.
- A firm stance and good discipline allows one to strike true, strike quick, and strike hard even on the retreat
- Courage enough to wield the weapon, and hold one's ground against an advancing charge. The heart of a lion, not of a mouse

These are the cornerstone beliefs and teachings that guide Millie's spear. Without these, her edge is blunted and the weapon would be nothing more than a stick with a pointy end. Her training, though incomplete, has granted her the basics which she practices daily. While she may have inferior technique and only basic understanding, her footwork and basic thrusts and slashes are sufficient for combat. While her courage may be wavering, she hardly turns down a challenge in hopes that, one day, the trembling might stop.

An apprentice, so to speak, Millie has trained in various stances taught to her by former masters. The young girl, though understanding only the basics, can exude abilities beyond the physical norm of her body. Through Mantra, Meditation, Focus and Balance, Millie can manipulate her body, mind and energy in unnatural ways.

Metal: Millie can assume a high stance with a spear. A stance for overpowering and decimating your foes. A stance of power, Millie is able to strike hard and stand tall, striking at foes to shatter bones and pierce barriers. While her movements are slow, they are strong and meticulous.
- Whilst unarmed, Millie can deliver a devastating, but slow, blow and maintains a wide stance preventing her from being easily tripped.

Water: With a spear, Millie assumes a low one-handed stance. This allows the young girl to flow like a river in any direction, avoiding strikes and evading pursuers. Balance is key, and her polearm becomes an option for movement and entrapment, capable of pole-vaulting up and over or slithering around opponents while sweeping at legs and slowing her opponents.
- While unarmed, Millie panics. Because she doesn't know how to really fight unarmed or what this would do for her in such situations.

Earth: A middle stance carved with balance and focus. The girl can defend and maneuver as needed while returning strikes from a comfortable distance in the form of either thrusts or slashes. A most balanced stance, and one she is most familiar with. The point may be kept at head height, but the haft begins is held at waist height.
- While unarmed, Millie isn't the best in close combat. She has some basic martial training, but it ultimately falls short of dedicated practitioners.

Spear: A beautiful spear crafted with red-colored wood and a fine steel tip. The guard extends forth, pronged like a trident, to catch weapons and assist with slashing techniques with their edged extensions tapering into a sharp point. The weapon is Millie's trusty spear, showing years of use around the areas at which she grips during her training.

Taigorian Robe: A black silk robe worn like a coat, kept loose with it secured around her mid by an obi. It features a faint floral pattern, black on the outside and red on the inside. The fabric feels and flows like silk, but remains unnaturally durable and is very wear-resistant. Appears and feels almost magical. Very comfortable and one of Millie's most prized possessions!

Purity Beads: A charm granted to her by her master for her travels. It is said to protect the wearer and lend them great luck on their travels. A charm to ward away demons and purify curses.
