Zakari

Back in the Saddle
I love to write, create characters and build worlds, however, I haven't been doing any roleplaying for the last decade or so, so I'm a bit lot out of practice when it comes to interacting with others in my writing. I tend to be a slow poster, as I take too long to get my words out and spend too much time overthinking what I'm about to say... That being said, my typing/writing speed is one of the many things I hope to improve while developing Zakari's character with a couple of patient RP partners.


Casual, but with Continuity
I don't want RP to cause stress for anyone, including myself. I won't hold anyone to a schedule or high standards regarding their writing, and I want to be clear that you don't have to feel guilty for canceling plans or being unavailable to RP with me. Take care of yourself first! That being said, I do keep a continuity rolling with Zakari, and all of his encounters are plotted along a timeline. Any injuries or effects will still be in effect on his next encounter, regardless of whom it is with.


Typical Post Length
Semi-Paragraph/Paragraph, 4+ sentences, about 100-200+ words on Furcadia. Please note I often spend about 15-25 minutes per post...
I'm working on this! I don't mind pausing mid-scene and picking it up next time we're both available.
Note: I am willing to try out a more detailed multiple paragraph-length RP here on RPR via message, or possibly on other platforms as well. That way, we would be able to give each other loose guidelines on post length and response times, so that there's no rush due to time constraints.

Late-Modern Period Fantasy
Mid-Late 1800's
- I play this timeline very North-American-centric.
- North American-based heritage: raised in Quebec and traveled South to the USA to avoid detection after leaving The House.
- Uses technology from these eras, including early guns and travel by train. Cars haven't been invented, and most still travel by horseback or caravan.

High Fantasy
Renaissance to Middle-Ages
- Basically like a classic D&D setting.
- Vaguer regarding his heritage, this time era opens up the realm of custom countries/territories if the RP would better be fit in a full fantasy world. In a world based off of Earth, perhaps French or Eastern European origins.
- Much, much less technology than the late-modern era - however, it opens the possibility for high magic and alchemy to replace the more modern solutions for their problems.
