House Najwa thrives as a merchant family that spans generations. They are well known for their strange ability to 'see' lies (in that if someone lies to them they know it to be a lie) which has evolved into a social dynamic in which they only speak the truth - even to outsiders. For this reason, House Najwa has thrived to the point their sigil of a bone wearing El'une is both respected and admired. It's not uncommon for one to take the sigil at face value - is your trading company carrying cargo with the true Najwa bone wearing sigil? More often than not you'll be waved through without the extra security searches. House Najwa trades, sells and conducts business with only the purest of intentions.

Despite their truthful business practice, House Najwa is considered one of the more secretive El'une Houses. Its clan/familial ties wear masks made of bone, porcelain, or any other white material to symbolize bone. Their ancestors often wore masks from the remnants of fallen familial members. Only mated/paired El'une within House Najwa are said to remove their masks when in private. Even their children do not look upon the bare faces of their parents - unless at the tender age in which they are entirely reliant on their mother for the most basic of needs. When their offspring grows strong enough to emerge from the protection of their home, they are gifted their first mask.

Little else is known about what happens behind the closed, guarded community of House Najwa. It's uncommon to see one stray too far from the safety and protection of their family.
