    Physical Description

    Short, black hair shades over the drooping, dark brown eyes of a sorrowful Elwin Rolfe. She is a heavy-set woman, muscular and padded further by weight. She stands at an average 5’11, though her broad-shouldered, heavy appearance makes her seem far larger than she is. She has a wide, squarish face with a jaw that in her youth was sharp, strong and attractive, but is now just beginning to sag as she gets older. Scars of various sizes fleck her tanned, white skin. Elwin would be an imposing, intimidating figure if not for the low, pathetic way she holds herself.
    Elwin’s outfits typically consist of a loose, dark forest green tunic that is characteristic to people from Vereldane. This tunic goes with her loose, dark beige trousers. She wears a bland belt of braided leather and dark leather boots.
    Her armor is a second padded tunic layered under a chain-mail shirt. She carries with her a light, evenly balanced long-sword of far higher quality than one might expect for her.
    Personality
    Elwin’s personality has been shaded by grief. For now, she is reserved and obedient. Her truer self is a vibrant, excitable woman. She is intelligent, humorous, and welcoming. Years spent vying for something always held just out of her reach marks her with a constant worry that perhaps things are too good to be true, but she can hide that well with a smile.
    Elwin’s morals can be a bit gray at times - to her, the needs of the person trump the rules of society. She values tradition, but finds it meaningless if it can’t make room for the needs of the people.
