    Ambitious
    Unlike some who turn their immortality into a curse, Ulric views it as a grand opportunity. He has the ability to achieve anything, and by god, he will.
    Confident, but not Egotistical
    Ulric is aware enough of his faults and failing to not become prideful. He believes it's idiotic to think you have no faults, or that you don't sometimes cause your own problems or mess things up. He has high confidence because he knows even if he makes a mistake, he'll find a way to fix it.
    Aware
    Ulric pays close attention to his surroundings. After being alive for as long as he has you pick up on common quirks that let you in on how a person is feeling, what they might be thinking. He's very keen to his environment, a person exiting or entering, someone moving something, open windows or undusted tables.
    Curious
    Ulric's curiosity, while not his most prominent trait, is 'the man behind the curtain.' Even if he's not fully aware of it a thirst to know and learn motivates him most.
    Cunning
    Ulric isn't Harvard smart, he knows he'd probably flunk a middle school science test, but he is people smart. He's good with numbers, has an understanding of psychology, and a quick tongue, making him quite the snake when he wants to be.
    Impatient
    Ulric's impatience is directed outwards, and on the surface is not as bad as others. He doesn't mind lines or a wait in the doctor's office, and he's patient with himself. The problem is that he's very impatient with individuals. Ulric is the type to snatch something away from you if you're taking to long to work with it, the type to tell you to stop and let him do it. This problem gets further complicated when applied to peoples emotions. He's snapped at grieving people for taking too long...
    Controlling
    ... And his controlling attitude is why. Ulric has a plan. Follow the plan. Don't mess up his plan. Of course, a small detour or sudden change is excused from his ire, but a continued problem or one that lasts long will set him off. He tries to control everything around him, so they don't mess anything up. He doesn't always do it with mal-intent, it's not uncommon for him to manipulate and control someone as a way to help them.
    Obsessive
    Most vampires have an obsession with counting, but it stops at that. Ulric found himself in the unfortunate condition of having much worse obsessive tendencies. Counting is of course on this list, along with a need to check the weather, a clinginess to people he likes, and the need to have things organized.
