Amit was distant as a child and never really had good role models, their parents always fought and made Amit feel somewhat responsible for it. Amit only had 1 sibling which was an older brother about 4 years older than him. The reason the parents fought was because a few months before Amit was born, he mother had gone on a secret fling. Soon after, his father found out, and they would fight - sometimes violently - for hours.
