Flynn Bishop

There’s a funny thing about people in Mystery. Whether you were born and raised there, or if you found your way there somehow, there’s more to you than just what’s on the surface. If you’re an outsider, it can be pretty obvious.

Flynn outwardly straddles the line of ‘feasibly weird.’

Her father, Jack, was an outsider to Mystery- a friend of his had who had his hands in the mafia went there after a stint in prison. And her mother, well. She was a local, and that's all anyone would really tell her. Flynn herself had always been considered more of her fathers kin since her mother had died. Or disappeared- the more answers she got the blurrier everything would become.

A raucous teenage troublemaker, Flynn isn't exactly what one might call the darling of the family, not by any stretch of the imagination. She has a heap of curly dark hair that is as wild as she is, and eyes the blue-gray color of a storm. A tall girl, she comes in somewhere about 5'10 and has an athletic build. She is accustomed to doing things like wandering the woods at night, getting lost in snowstorms, and getting into much more trouble than her father cares to see her in. As the de-facto head of the local Forest Service branch, he has taught her plenty of useful survival skills but will often have to step in and pull her out of trouble. Unfortunately, he isn't always available, and the townies are not exactly... fond of her, shes discovered.

Reckless Abandon: While she does feel pain and can get severely injured like most other people, it takes a lot more effort than what might be expected. While she does enjoy the same things any average teen in the 90's would, she is not your average, squishy human.

Teenage Dirtbag: Between what she has picked up from living her whole life in the harsh wilderness of Alaska, what her father has taught her in case anything were to happen, and what she has learned from scumming it out in Fairbanks and Anchorage with her best friend Adrian, Flynn is both smart in the wild and the street. Oh, and she dropped out of school, so don't expect her reading comprehension to be very good or for her to break out with the long division.

No Good: Whenever she leaves the house, Flynn always has her backpack with her, and depending on where shes going and how long she plans to be gone, she has a 3 day bag. She generally has it filled up with snacks and drinks, as well as a few other miscellaneous items like cigarettes, a lighter, notebook and pen, a flint, a knife, and an emergency blanket.
