  • Personality:

    Kaminari: She is very sweet, friendly, but quite shy. She also tends to be startled easily and when this occurs, she often gives out an electric shock, even unintentionally.

    Petra: She is brave, adventurous and of course quite reckless. While Petra is confident that her body armor would deter most predators, she often bites more than she can chew.

    Amethyst: Amethyst is serious, calm and a big sister type. However, dont piss her off, because she can be quite nasty.

  • Interesting facts:

    Kaminari:
      Her favourite food are shellfish and crabs, which she can crack upen using her powerful jaw.
      She likes to rest on the sea floor, while laying on her belly. The color of her back actually camouflages her while doing so.
      When she hugs someone, her ray-fins are covering that person like a blanket.
      Her name comes from the Japanese word for thunder or lightning. This is a reference to her ability to produce electricity as a Japanese Sleeping Ray mermaid.

    Petra:
      Her species is considered to be a living fossil.
      She shares her favourite food with Kaminari (shellfish and crabs).
      She views Kaminari as her sister.
      Her name comes from latin word for rock, which is a reference for her kinda rock-like body armor, and to the fact that the fish she is based on can only be found as fossils.

    Amethyst:
      As a Merrow, she is more predatory than Kaminari and Petra, but would never hunt humans and other larger sea animals such as seals and turtles.
      She is surprisingly affaible and approachable for a Merrow.
      She hates the Cecaelia (the half-human half-octopus merpeople), because in her youth she was kidnapped and held in hostage by one.
      She got her name due to her purple fins.
