In the heart of Babylonia, Tzelem scrutinized the practices of her keeper. Such ghastly and abhorrent acts present themselves in her memory as masterful.. artful.. even divine. There was no other to touch the same level of proficiency as that of a her owner. His frugality and lethal etiquette produced in her the profound impulse to imitate. After leaving his tutelage, Tzelem would continue to reproduce these rituals to preserve her immortality. Perhaps, she also does this to feel closer to her beloved. Perhaps, she takes joy in it.
Perhaps, a creature born of carnage is cursed to repeat it.

▪︎ Tzelem has full jurisdiction over her complexion. Her primary pigmentation is an ink cast. It is used for obscurity during the night and absorbing heat, but functionality aside, it is her most comfortable state of being. With this ability, she can also exhibit an array of markings anywhere on her person or decline to a shade that even light can't reflect from. Her dark olive skin is the secondary cast which she poses to accommodate strangers or outsiders.

▪︎ The inkling can adjust the texture of her skin to best suit her needs. She finds that the right composition can make all the difference in her attempts to remain hidden. Smooth surface area along the skin allows for quicker absorption of energy.
▪︎ Tzelem's make-up permits her mobility that far surpasses that of an average person and even the most competent contortionists. Her immeasurable flexibility often lands her in ornate professions.

It would seem those in high places favor her profession, as well, despite high costs. Materials aren't easy to gather and association to the process is rather risky..
