Who is Anna?

Anna spent most of her life as an orphan of sorts, with her mother dead and her father in prison. She inherited the Berkley foundation, though there has been a different person running it since the time her father went to jail until she was able to get her bachelor's degree. Since then, she's taken over management of the company. She's competent, driven, hard working, and her guarded emotions and position of power can make her come across as being cold. In reality, she's been through hell.

Since before she could remember, her father was an abusive drunk up until he was taken to prison, since then her luck in life never improved. The money she inherited made her a target for emotional manipulation by people who wanted her money, abuse by people who hated her for her money, and kidnapping by crooks who were after stealing her money. Anyone she is regularly around ends up turning on her in one way or another. Since she took over ownership of the company, people have even tried to kill her. Which has resulted in her hiring protection to keep her safe.
