  • Description

    Meadow Holmwood wants what any caterpillar wants to do. Eat a lot of leaves, sleep in a cocoon, then take to the skies as a butterfly!

    ...Except, that didn't happen for Meadow. Instead she crossed paths with a drug lord during her daily grocery trip. Unfortunately for Meadow, her species is renowned for the hallucinogenic powders that they make from certain magical plants they eat. As a result, Meadow is often denied the luxury of choosing what plants she can eat for her boss to make lots of cash. Sometimes her boss and his crew would go on discovery trips specifically TO find new plants for her to feed on.

    These days, though, her boss is less a threat and more a lazy bum who just sniffs her to get high. Which, while that sounds like it should be freeing since she isn't being force fed but... now it's just drudgery. Without being fed magical plants, Meadow has no other connections to the outside world.

    What she does have, however, is money. Money that her boss paid her for all that dust he collected from her over the years. With that money, Meadow hopes to regain her agency by tweaking the ship's labs to grow "more productive plants". Some of those more useful plants include medicinal herbs or rare fruit delicacies.

    Her boss' lackies, however, still keep tabs on her. So she has to keep an ear out for the signature phrase they use as a hypnosis trigger during her outings.
