History
When Valan was born, she was cursed with one of the cruelest mutations an arkaine could have - where her eyes should of been, overgrown gems took their place. At first, she was treated by the city as just an unfortunate child, considering she was completely blind. As she started to get a little older, however, what had started out as normal visions begun to get intense, and the perception from others changed. While her mother and a choice few others considered her holy, her father, like many others, looked on with scorn. One thing was certain, however, was that all feared her potential powers. Time would pass on, and once she was both old enough and capable enough to live alone, she moved out into the forest - to be alone of her own choice, and not just shunned.
