Nick Sexton

A pierced and tattooed drifter of uncertain islander descent with a burnt tone of hair to compliment his dark brown, nearly black eyes and deep copper skin. He is a man of average height and careless posture, but lean, with fair athletic build maintained by living on the outskirts of society. There is a natural unkempt spike to his messy hair, which is just as thick and coarse as it looks - unkempt is a word in general that can be used to describe him alongside shifty, scruffy and worn. Scraggly sideburns and chinstrap beard frame a narrower face with strong jawline and prominent cheekbones, the bridge of a strong, moderately flat nose slightly crooked from being broken on more than one occasion. A sense of haunted uncertainty lingers in the gaunt shadows of his deep-set and tired almond eyes.

The most blatant ink on his body, his arms are covered in tattoo sleeves comparable to both Polynesian tattoo design and the bold geometric lines of petroglyphs found carved in ancient places like the "mystri stage" of the Sinjoh Ruins. Somewhat alchemical in nature as well, the lines form strange, circular symbolic designs resembling eyes. Extremely similar to the designs seen in the stories depicting the Monster of Alto Mare. They cover his skin from shoulder to knuckle, fading on both ends into smaller and smaller pieces breaking away from the complex and surreal landscape. The left side breaks into a geometric abstraction of a diving Lugia as if underwater onto his hand - on the right side, Ho-Oh rises from vague flames on his shoulder. The fire flares out and the design reaches into his chest from the right shoulder, dipping into a prominent 'eye' in the center of his pectoral on just that side.

A very old and faded tattoo of a black circle within a ring, a similar simplified eye to those in his sleeves, can barely be made out on his right palm.

A scar distorted tramp stamp (also quite tribal in design, likely based off of ancient paintings) of the three legendary beasts (Suicune flanked by Entei and Raikou) on his lower back and on lower left leg a woodblock print stylized flaafy sits on its haunches smoking a joint.


Nick is a notably marked individual aside from his piercings and tattoos - in general he comes across as rough and is certainly not a man afraid to play in the dirt; his hands are scarred and calloused from his line of work and methodology of living.

A layered individual of washed out second hand color and cryptically post-apocalyptic charm; a frequenter of tattered material, adventure weathered gear, and decorative metal. If one had to apply a style, it could be called anarchist punk or gutter, more than a bit vagabond in ragged road warrior practicality. A lot of his clothing is worn and notably hodgepodge - shoes and coat in particular have been repaired by skilled hands again and again, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces.

Footwear consists of scuffed boots, battered dark purple canvas shoes, strapped hiking sandals, or nothing at all. Nick wears a variety of printed t-shirts and alternates between fit jeans and a pair of cargo shorts. The designs on his shirts range from fan prints to witty text as tasteless as the stickers on his van.

A major consistent over the band tees is a hooded and short-sleeved open jacket of sorts that reaches to the back of his knees. It's a heavy garment of ribbed deep purple material and darker leather reinforcement showcasing thick stitch work and numerous pockets. The interior is black, as are the short sleeves that fall to mid-bicep in scrunched layers. The weather worn jacket shows time in its decorations of buttons and patches scattered across its surface, heavy leather hood showcasing the faintest of geometric indentations in circular patterns.

In colder weather you can be sure to find him bundled up with the addition of gloves, scarf, and knit cap. The man is very much inclined towards warmer weather and does not enjoy ice and snow. When the weather is going his way he'll comfortably go without shirt or shoes.



A slender silver chain with a little flying saucer charm of twisted wire and leather cord. A double looped bracelet of unpolished stone beads on his right wrist - on the left, varied beaded and leather bracelets decorated with brightly colored shards. The unpolished stone beads are something he next to never takes off.

In general when out in the field a pair of wireless headphones around his neck, a cigarette in hand, a beat up messenger bag containing all his personal gear slung over a shoulder, and a pair of sleek wrap sunglasses hanging from his shirt collar when not being worn. Strapped to the side of the heavy duty messenger bag is a gas mask with glossy black glass shining from the eye sockets.

A good number of piercings, but for the most part along his ears and none in his face.

Suffers from frequent migraines, night terrors, muscle spasms, and requires an unusual amount of sleep. An addict to painkillers and as such has a very high tolerance, causing him to turn to a wide variety of substances to take off the edge. This man has not treated his body well and it shows - there is a sense of sickness about him, a weary touch to the shadows under his eyes.

Nick appears to be in a chronic state of exhaustion with indeterminate illness lingering under the surface; his eyes are generally blood shot, the lines around his eyes shadowed and heavy, his body not nearly as strong as it could be. Especially not his lungs. The vagabond can often be found nursing head or body aches from coming down off recreational drugs while simultaneously eating poorly, smoking too much, and not getting proper sleep. Nick very often looks worse for the wear and could probably do to take showers a little more frequently, too.

An extensive medical history, often consisting of being brought into a hospital against his will and making an escape at first opportunity. Extremely hostile towards physicians unless they're putting their signature on a prescription.
