General Appearance: A sullen looking young woman of slender build and somewhat short stature. Laura stands at around 5'2 and while on the skinny side she has very defined musculature hinting an acrobat build level. She has long black hair, light blue eyes and olive skin. Though standoffish she often prefers to wear somewhat revealing clothing that either cling to her body or leave a lot of skin exposed like tops and tight fitting jeans. She favors gothic style clothes and mostly wears all black.
Personality: Laura is somber, aloof and more than a little rude. She grunts in annoyance if someone is trying to get her attention and generally prefers to be left alone, if she feels someone is intruding in her personal space she's just as likely to respond with violence or run away rather than talk things out. In fact, very rarely will she want to talk things out at all and would rather engage in violence immediately or run away. She's emotionally stunted and has very poor upbringing considering she was used as nothing but an attack dog until very recently in her life, as such she has animalistic behavior and poor manners.

Backstory: X-23 (officially designated as X23-23) is a mutant, artificially created by the Transigen Project to use as a soldier. Her biological father was Logan, having been created with genetic DNA samples acquired by the Alkali Lake team, and thus she shared his healing factor and retractable claws; Transigen also coated her bones with adamantium. When the X-23 project was deemed a failure after the success of the X-24 project, X-23 was spirited away from Transigen by her nurse, Gabriella Lopez, who had named her Laura. Gabriella wanted to get her to North Dakota to the mutant haven known as Eden, and tried to get Logan to help them.

After Gabriella was killed by the Reavers, X-23 ended up in the company of Logan and Charles Xavier on the run. As they headed north, they were constantly dogged by the Reavers and also X-24, which resulted in Xavier's death. Alone with Logan, the pair headed for North Dakota – X-23 because she believed that Eden existed, and Logan to prove that it did not. Arriving, they found a small group of children led by Rictor.

Along with the other children, X-23 headed north to cross the border into Canada. They were followed by the Reavers and Dr. Zander Rice. X-23 fought alongside Logan to protect the others, managing to kill Dr. Zander and the other Reavers. When X-24 mortally wounded Logan, X-23 killed him by shooting him with an adamantium bullet through the head.

Many years later, by joining the Xavier Institute, X-23 has become a respected and valuable player in the mutant community. She was a member of the X-Men in-training group, part of the killer squad X-Force, and a student of the Avengers Academy.

Powers (at least 3):

Adamantium Claws: Laura has a pair of retractable adamantium claws in each hand and one in each foot. They are an extension of her skeleton and she can pull them out or retract them at will, much like a cat. As they have been coated with adamantium, they are night indestructible and can cut through almost any kind of material while they themselves are almost impossible to break even with laser weaponry. It is worth noting that only Laura's claws are adamantium and not the rest of her skeleton.

Enhanced Senses: Laura can see, hear and smell better than most humans and animals. She is hyper aware of her surroundings at all times and its extremely difficult to get the drop on her. Likewise, she's an expert tracker and is difficult to escape her if she sets her sights on a target.

Enhanced Physical Abilities: Stronger, more durable and faster than most humans, Laura can shrug off damage and keep fighting, she can jump 10 meters up in the air and do crazed feats of dexterity, she also does not tire easily and can run and neck breaking speeds for hours before she starts to feel exhaustion.

Regeneration: A healing factor that stitches back wounds and an alarmingly fast rate. Laura can even regrow limbs if necessary though at a slow rate and this would mean losing her adamantium claws if her arms or legs were to be chopped off. Additionally, she processes poison normally and is almost impossible to poison her unless she is forced to ingest an absurdly large amount of poison.

Melee Combat Master: Trained from an early age in combat, Laura is an expert practitioner in a myriad of martial arts that she combines with her enhanced abilities.

Assassin: Expert in silent kills, Laura is known for infiltrating large compounds silently, avoid detection, kill her target and then get out without being noticed.

Complications (at least 3):

Uncivilized: Laura has been kept as an animal for virtually all her life. While she knows how to communicate through language that's about all she understands of civilization and has a hard time grasping even simple things like buying things with money.

Unschooled: Only the very basic schooling, Laura speaks English and Spanish fluently but she doesn't know how to write very well and only has a passable grasp in mathematics.

Berserker Rage: When angered Laura has a very difficult time controlling her emotions. She's liable to lash out at friend and foe alike if driven to a frenzy.

Emotionally Stunted: Laura has not had a chance to grow organically and does not respond well to people trying to approach her. She's greatly traumatized by all the violence she has seen and performed and thus suffers greatly from PTSD.

Lost Land Complications: Lives in the Jungle: Very early on Laura realized that she could not live in Galyana even if she wanted to. Thus she lives somewhere in the jungle as something of a wild child.
