She had always been warned about forming bonds with Other-Worlders. The elders forbid such ideas. The anchor to her home world kept her from forming meaningful connections to those from distant worlds. Though, a part of her feared such commitment. She usually never stayed around long enough in any of the places she visited; for chains to be forged, and links made.

But, with every rule comes a number of breaks- and let's not forget exceptions.

Sometimes she allowed people to slip through the cracks; make an impression, or act as influence. She might not always remember who they are, or what they were, but their faces will always linger in the farthest part of her mind.

Of Note:
Xailah may not remember certain interactions with Other-Worlders after returning to her homeworld, especially very positive ones. Her tracking chip prevents her from doing so in the waking world, and will continue to do so until the chip has been removed. This is to prevent attachment from forming with those off-planet- which would cause Xailah to deviate from her main purpose. The people who chipped her would hate to lose their research subject.

This can obviously prove to be an issue if she meets someone from another world again. They'll have to rebuild their relationship 50 First Dates style.

There are two ways to bypass this problem, however: frequent exposure to a person, and reuniting in dreams are two methods to better help retain memory of those off-planet. Note that Xailah's subconscious does recognize all people she's interacted with, and will therefore be able to remember them, but only when she is dreaming. Fellow Cryptids and Eldritch Entities are the only exception to the amnesia, presently.

My caretaker as a child, confidant as a nymphling, and now my travel companion as an adult. If there is one being I can always rely on, it is you... except for when you are hungry. Given to the woman when she was a girl, the cat has grown to be a loyal friend over the years- and not only that, he has become family. The pair are almost inseparable, and should they become forcefully separated one can expect destruction to follow.

Bertha (played anonymously)

Though we do not share the same blood, you are still family to me by choice. Such a beautiful soul, and yet, one of the saddest I have seen. If I could carry just a fraction of your sorrow, I would, for you do not deserve to be burdened by such a thing. An old, but greatly valued friend of the family. Xailah would visit the bovine woman with her mother, when she was but a kit. In adulthood, Xailah has sworn her loyalty to Bertha.

Gigi Glamour (played anonymously)

The Pale Lady. Her face sometimes comes to me in flashes. I do not know her and yet I feel like I have met her. I think she... is cold. She has cold hands. Met during Xailahs inauguration ceremony. As the womans Watcher, Gigi was appointed with the task of chipping Xailah, so her journeys could be tracked. Xailah is unaware of her connection with the metal woman, and has no real knowledge of ever having met her.

Mayday (played anonymously)

If you saw me again, would you recognize me? I haven't forgotten you, or what you have done. Through a series of unfortunate events Mayday would be one of Xailah's first introductions to death. When the cryptid was but a child, Mayday would claim the life of one of Xailah's relatives. It has been decades since the incident, but Xailah remembers the day vividly. Interestingly enough, she holds no ill will towards Mayday.
